How can I help you?
My clients are Black women who feel overwhelmed and tired of chasing perfection. Despite being perfect on paper, she feels scattered and unfulfilled.
She is so focused on getting the next promotion, being in the right relationship, and not making mistakes that she feels like she’s losing herself. She is well-acquainted with self-sacrifice — she sacrifices sleep and her relationship with herself!
Feeling peaceful and fulfilled without overcommitting is not out of reach.
If you want to say “no” and mean it without feeling unworthy, guilty, selfish, or stressed, I’d love to help you get there.

We have so much coming in as sisters, when is our interior life ever put at the forefront? We constantly want to give to other people. The word ‘no’ is important. It’s self-abuse. Too much of not caring for yourself is not a good thing. We’re bad at that as achievers. Self-care is a priority and we have to do it more.

THE PROCESS
What to expect in the therapy process…
TALK TO ME FIRST
In this 15-minute consultation call, we will discuss what brings you to therapy, learn more about each other, and decide if we are a good fit for your therapy journey.
DEEP DIVE
During your first appointment, we will complete an assessment, which allows me to get to know you better. We will talk more about the concerns that led to you seeking therapy, your background, and the significant people in your life.
THE JOURNEY
Based on your assessment, we will develop your goals and a plan to accomplish them. We will meet weekly at the beginning of treatment. Each session is tailored to your needs and supports you in creating the life you want.
CONCLUSION
We know the journey is never truly over, but our work together is complete. It has been a pleasure working with you! You prioritized your personal growth, used new skills, and are creating the life you’ve always wanted.
Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare. —Audre Lorde
